On Wednesday, May 17, 2016, Senator Johns, and Chief Lampert testified on Senate Bill 398 and achieved passage without objection from the House Committee. The Bill states that video or audio recordings generated by law enforcement officer body-worn cameras that are found by the custodian to violate individual’s reasonable expectations of privacy are exempt from disclosure.
