Law Enforcement Membership

Thank you for your interest in the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police. LACP is an association comprised of more than 350 chiefs of police from around the state both active and retired, and other top staff municipal law enforcement officers throughout Louisiana.

LACP is a very active group that has grown in both number and influence over the past years. Our Annual, Mid-Year, and Fall Conferences are very well attended and members of LACP receive a discounted rate. Our programs at these functions are informative, educational, and extremely beneficial to all of our memberships.

LACP is continuously monitoring the Louisiana Legislature in order to protect your interests as a member of the law enforcement profession. We are dedicated to providing you with the best in education and training available. I urge you to become an active member of the Association. We are always looking for members who would like to be more involved!

Our goal is to provide police chiefs and other top-level officers with an opportunity to enhance themselves professionally, as well as improve the standards of Louisiana law enforcement.
